I did install all drivers from HP web site for this computer. Select “Sound, audio and game controllers”, then “Conexant”, then “Have Disk”. Hp dv9700 sound know the sound card hp dv9700 sound good, since it worked before soune.

I have searched the HP Driver and Support webpage, but unfortunately all of the drivers are Windows Vista only and do not work on the computer no effect It asks me to restart soound upon restarting there fv9700 still a white X within a red circle on the speaker logo in the system tray.
